The Mets got their road trip off to a slow start with a pair of losses to the Reds, but bounced back to win the series finale 9-1 and the opener vs. the Phillies.
The pitching matchup has the potential to be a great one. Mets starter Freddy Peralta is 5-5 in 15 starts with a 3.90 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP. But we are talking about a guy in Sanchez that has allowed one earned run at home in his last four starts. He'll contain a Mets lineup that has hit .292 over the last week. Peralta has been hard to hit on the road and the Phillies lineup has been sufficient lately but not good, hitting .230 over the last week and recording 23 runs across five games. This is going to be a low-scoring game.
