The Mets once again lost a low-scoring game against the Red Sox in Game 2. They were shut out on an afternoon where the Mets only managed four hits. With left-hander Garrett Crochet pitching Game 3, they'll start as betting underdogs this time. That wasn't the case in Games 1 and 2 with Senga and Holmes pitching for the Mets, where New York started as heavy favorites in both games at Fenway Park, but they still lost in part due to their poor offense.

Despite their 29-20 record, it's true that the Mets haven't hit much this season outside of Citi Field, which was further highlighted in their time at Yankee Stadium and now in Boston. Lindor went 1-for-3 in Game 2, making the Puerto Rican 1-for-13 in his last four games. Meanwhile, Soto is lagging behind in home runs, his last one coming on May 9.

Right-hander Tylor Megill is scheduled to start Game 3 for the Mets and will try to avoid a sweep, but his team hasn't won in any of his last four starts despite starting as a favorite at odds of -144 or less in three of them.
