The 7-3 Atlanta Braves face one of their division rivals when the Mets bring their 4-7 mark to town. The Mets are 7th in team ERA with a combined 3.42 but are large underdogs here to the defending NL East champions. The Mets will toss Luis Severino who is 0-1 but with a solid 3.60 ERA and has 13 strikeouts to go with just 2 walks. The offense has been led by Brett Baty thus far who is carrying a .325 batting average. They are going to need to get the bats going in this matchup and will be facing a little-known name. Allan Winans is going to be on the bump for the Braves. He will be making his season debut and is getting to face a Mets lineup that should be hungry for hits. Offensively, the Braves are 1st in the league on batting average (.306) and OBP (.368). Marcel Ozuna has been tremendous with a .318 AVG while hitting 5 home runs and picking up 13 RBIs. Atlanta took the 1st game of the series 6-5 while the 2nd was postponed on Wednesday Night. With an added day off, it will remain to see which team will benefit the most.
