Golden State Valkyries (6-6) will look for a shock win when they host New York Liberty (10-2) on Wednesday night at Chase Center. The Valkyries have been impressive, especially at home, where they floored top teams like the Aces, the Storm, and the Fever. Caitlin Clark and Indiana were their latest victims, losing 88-77 to the Valkyries on Thursday night. Golden State can build on this win when they host the struggling Sun before battling the Liberty, the Sky, and the Storm at home.
New York Liberty, meanwhile, has shown signs of weakness lately. They recovered from their 14-point loss against Indiana Fever to defeat Atlanta Dream 86-81 at home. However, this recovery didn't last long after they lost 81-89 at home to the Mercury. The Liberty now have a tricky four-match road trek, starting with the Storm on Sunday night before playing the Valkyries, the Mercury, and the Dream. These games will test their resolve to retain the championship in 2025.
