The New York Knicks (8-4) visit the Miami Heat (7-6) in an NBA 2025-26 game on Monday, November 17, at the Kaseya Center.
The Heat return home looking for immediate revenge after dropping a 140-132 shootout to these same Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Friday. They've now lost two games in a row, giving up an average of 135 points to their opponents. Their defense needs to be stronger if they want this win.
It also doesn't help that star guard Tyler Herro, who's yet to play this season, needs another week to fully recover from his injury. Bam Adebayo is also ruled out for Monday's game, making this Knicks match another challenging feat for the Heat.
New York, meanwhile, rides the momentum of that 140-132 NBA Cup win, which capped a 6-1 homestand and pushed the Knicks to 8-4. Karl-Anthony Towns led all scorers with 39 markers, while Landry Shamet came off the bench to bury six triples on his way to 36 points.
The Knicks did this despite the absence of injured star Jalen Brunson, who will remain sidelined on Monday. Defensive wing OG Anunoby is also listed as out due to a hamstring injury. Reports say that Anunoby needs two weeks before getting re-evaluated.
