New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills Prediction & Picks - NFL

Typically, in the final week of the regular season in the NFL, you have some teams playing for something significant, like a division title or a better playoff seeding. Other times, teams have everything locked in, and they will rest starters and play players that normally do not see significant playing time.

The Buffalo Bills (11-5) are one of those teams that have everything locked in and would normally sit their starters in this matchup with the New York Jets (3-13). However, the Bills have stated that their starters will be playing, and they plan on taking this game very seriously. The Bills heartbreakingly lost their last game to the Philadelphia Eagles. Josh Allen had an open receiver on the final play that would have given them the win and a chance to still win the division. He missed the receiver and the Bills fell 13-12. Now they seemingly have nothing to play for and will be playing one of the top teams in the AFC in the opening round on the road.

The Jets have had another very Jets-like season and are currently on a 4-game losing streak in which they have allowed an average of 38.25 points per game. Their one bright spot has been the play of do-it-all running back Breece Hall. He is coming off a game in which he took just 14 carries for 111 yards and a touchdown. He will need an even bigger game here to keep the Jets in this road game against the Bills.

Will the Bills keep their word and play this game out like it is another regular-season matchup? Or is this all a stunt, and Josh Allen and others will only play a series or two?
