A win would definitely mean more to the Trail Blazers right now since they are half a game behind the Clippers for the No. 8 seed in the play-in tournament. Portland just beat them on Tuesday in LA, 114-104, and will face them again on April 10 at home. So, a win here, coupled with a Clippers loss to San Antonio tonight, could put the Trail Blazers in the driver’s seat.

So, when I see that, I wonder what I’m missing. Then I notice that the Pelicans will be without the team’s leading scorer tonight, Trey Murphy III. Assuming that doesn’t change, I can’t see a reason to think the Pelicans can end their losing streak tonight.
