The next two teams to meet in the Italian Serie A are Napoli and Torino, both arriving here in the wake of taking three points, with each bagging two goals. They go head-to-head this Friday at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona as Torino make the long journey down to Naples.
With the middle portion of the table being fairly congested, Torino actually aren’t too far off the upper half now; thanks to their fabulous performance against Lazio last time out, they are now just five points off Udinese in 10th. This victory ruptured their four-game winless streak.
The home side were extremely fortunate to snatch the win in their last match against the team residing in last place (Verona), despite scoring in the first two minutes of the game, and have Lukaku to thank for a last-ditch goal to save what would’ve been a rather disappointing result indeed.
Considering their third-place ranking, Napoli have shown weakness at the back in recent times, now going nine matches in all competitions without a clean sheet. Paired with the second-worst defensive record that Torino possesses, we should see many chances.

When Torino visits teams of similar ranking to Napoli, the player that produces the most shots is Simeone, with a total of nine in four matches, hitting the target once in each game. In general, Simeone is the 9th best in the whole league for shots on target per 90 minutes (1.40).
The Argentine was very eager last time out against Lazio, a very similar defensive side to Napoli, netting one from three goal attempts. He is starting to get back into the swing of things following his short injury.
