The Vegas Golden Knights (17-8-11, 8-4-6 Home) will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard tonight when they host the Minnesota Wild (23-10-6, 10-6-1 Away) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The puck is scheduled to drop at 10 p.m. EST with coverage provided by ESPN+.

Vegas gave fans an early Christmas present last week when they ended a three-game losing streak in commanding fashion with a 7-2 win over the San Jose Sharks at home. But the good times didn’t last long as they lost their next game out in a shootout, 6-5, to the Colorado Avalanche, giving them four losses in their last five games. But they have rebounded well after shootout losses in the past, with wins in nine of their last ten games following a shootout loss.  As for Minnesota, the Wild got back on the right side of the scoreboard their last time out with a 4-3 OT win on the road against Winnipeg. It was the first of what’s going to be a seven-game road trip. They just finished a three-game homestand, losing the last two (vs. Colorado and Nashville).

Minnesota is ranked third in the Central Division of the Western Conference with 52 points, while Vegas is the top-ranked team in the Western Conference’s Pacific Division with 45 points.
