Sam Darnold will face the team that decided to move on from him after leading them to a playoff birth last season when the Seattle Seahawks (8-3) host the Minnesota Vikings (4-7).

It has been a tremendous season for Darnold, who has led his new team to an 8-3 mark and a good shot at winning their division. His connection with Jaxon Smith-Njigba has led to 80 receptions for 1,313 yards and 7 touchdowns. He and the Seahawks have won 5 of their last 6 games and are only trailing the Rams by one game in the division. They are coming off a 30-24 win over the struggling Titans on the road, but will be back home, where they have played some of their best this season.

The Vikings must be having some remorse after letting Darnold go and sticking with the young JJ McCarthy. The Vikings have lost 5 of their last 6 games, and McCarthy is putting up some putrid numbers. He threw for only 87 yards last week and was sacked 5 times while also throwing 2 interceptions against the rival Packers. Frustration seems to be growing within the organization, and even superstar receiver Justin Jefferson looks disengaged lately.

Darnold will look to get revenge on the team that let him go, while the Vikings will be in desperate need of a win. Only one can come out on top, but the Vikings will need to play a near-flawless game to win this one on the road.
