The San Diego Padres (68-60, 37-26 Home) will host the Minnesota Twins this weekend in a three-game series at Petco Park. Game One is scheduled to get underway tonight at 9:409 p.m. EST on MLB.TV.

San Diego returns home after going 3-3 on the road in their last six, losing the finale to the New York Mets on Wednesday 4-2. Minnesota is heading back on the road after going 5-4 at home over the last nine games, including a series sweep of the Braves.

Randy Vasquez is scheduled to get the start for the Padres. He is 8-6 on the season in 24 starts with a 4.30 ERA, a 1.38 WHIP, and teams have hit .281 against him. He has gone 4-4 at home in 11 appearances (nine starts) with a 4.78 ERA and a .284 OBA.

Minnesota is set to give the start to Connor Prielipp. He has gone 3-6 in 17 starts with a 5.34 ERA, a  1.38 WHIP, and teams have hit .256 against him. Prielipp has not done well on the road, going 0-3 in seven starts with a 6.15 ERA and a .301 OBA. He gave up three runs in his last two starts on the road.
