The Padres won the second game of the series 7-5 against the Twins in an even game. The Padres defeated one of the teams that has done the best since the All-Star Game, the Twins, the Padres are another that has done quite well since then as they have won 9 of the last 10 series. Profar has been key, along with Merrill, and the timely bats of Machado and Tatis for the Padres' good moment.

Waldron and his knuckleball will look to complete the sweep over the Twins. Waldron has a record of 7-10 and an ERA of 4.29. He didn't have a good last outing at Coors Field, where he allowed 7 ER in 5.2 IP and allowed 9 hits. 

Woods Richardson will be the pitcher for the Twins, he has a 4-3 record and a 3.77 ERA. This is his first career start against the Padres.

The Twins have lost the last 3 games, always wasting advantages, on Sunday they were winning 4-0 against the Rangers and could not win, while in Tuesday's game Ober had a quality start, which left the Twins winning, but that the Bullpen couldn't maintain.
