With the series evened at 1-1, the Minnesota Twins and the LA Dodgers are locked in a winners-take-series match on Wednesday at Dodger Stadium.
The Twins came through with the equalizer on Tuesday as Royce Lewis and Christian Vasquez each delivered three RBIs to power Minnesota to a 10-7 win over the Dodgers in Game 2. The big bats on both teams dealt a lot of damage in this game, yet Minnesota simply outslugged the home teams thanks to an explosive night from both Vasquez and Lewis.
The Dodgers, who are averaging 4.9 runs on a .213 batting average in their last five games, recorded seven runs in the loss. Shohei Ohtani and Andy Pages each belted a homer, and Hyeseong Kim chipped in two RBIs. The Dodgers remains at the top of the NL West with a 59-38 record, but they are facing constant pressure from their closest trailers, the San Diego Padres, at 55-46.
