The Twins are just 4-6on the season and are coming off a 3-2 win over the Dodgers that snapped a 4-game losing streak. They will have Pablo Lopez pitching for them. Lopez is 1-1 on the year and has a 2.84 ERA. He has walked just 1 batter so far this season while also striking out 9. The Twins are only hitting .181 as a team which is dead last in the MLB. Alex Kirilloff has been the lone bright spot in the lineup. Kirilloff is hitting .355 while slugging .710. For the Tigers, they will turn to Tank Skubal. Tank is 1-0 with a 2.92 ERA and has 15 strikeouts to go with just 2 walks. The bats have been a bit of an issue for the Tigers as well this season. They are slugging just .330 which is 26th in the league. However, Gio Urshela has been got and is hitting .387 for them. As a pitching staff, the Tigers are in 6th place in terms of combined ERA (3.38). With the lack of fire power on each offense, this one may come down to which pitcher is able to shutout the other team out during their number of innings on the mound.
