The Guardians firmly dispatched the Twins in game one by the score of 13-4. They posted at least 1 run in every inning except their last at-bats. Chase Delauter, Patrick Bailey, and Petey Halpin were the catalysts for the offense. They combined to go 11-15 with 8 RBIs and 3 home runs. Rhys Hoskins added 2 solo home runs as well. Tanner Bibee picked up his 4th win.
Game two the Twins threw a bullpen start, and it did not pan out. While they did a decent job, it was not enough as the Guardians pitchers combined to strike out 9 batters and allow just 1 earned run on 6 total hits. The 5-2 win gave the Guardians a cushion in the division.
The Twins were able to bounce back in game three. Despite Bailey Ober getting knocked around, the Twins lineup exploded for 10 runs to help get the win. Trevor Larnach went 2-4 with a home run and 3 RBIs to lead the way for the Twins. Now, Taj Bradley will be tasked with trying to split the series this afternoon.
