The Minnesota Twins will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard today when they face their AL Central rival, the Indians, at Progressive Field in Cleveland. First Pitch is scheduled for 4:10 p.m. EST. This game will be the sixth between these two teams this season, and the second in a three-game weekend series. Minnesota took the first one back on April 28, 11-1. But the Guardians have taken the last four, including last night’s game, a 3-2 win in extra innings. 

Bailey Ober is scheduled to start for the Twins, his first since coming off the 15-day IL. He is 4-6 in 17 starts with a 5.28 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and .289 OBA. He has not been at his best on the road, where he’s gone 2-3 in eight starts with a 5.74 ERA and a .313 OBA. Ober took the loss in each of his five starts in July and tallied a 9.0 ERA for the month. Cleveland is going with Tanner Bibee. Bibee is 7-9 this season in 21 starts with a 4.39 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and .249 OBA. He has definitely had his best stuff at home, where he is 2-3 in eight starts with a 2.76 ERA and .218 OBA.
