The Baltimore Orioles will try to win their first series of the season today when the Orioles host the Minnesota Twins in Game Three of their season-opening series at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. First Pitch for this contest is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. EST with coverage provided by ESPN Unlimited/MLB.TV.
Baltimore won Game One of the series and the 2026 season opener on Thursday, 2-1. Trevor Rogers threw seven shutout innings, allowing three hits, striking out four, and walking four. But Game Two on Saturday had a different outcome, as the Twins took the win, 4-1. Royce Lewis recorded the deciding runs with a two-run home run in the fifth off Orioles starter Kyle Bradish.
The Orioles will turn to Shane Baz to start today. The young right-hander went 10-12 in 31 starts last season with Tampa Bay. He had a 4.876 ERA and a WHIP of 1.33. It will be his first start since joining Baltimore in the offseason. Minnesota is set to give Bailey Ober the ball to start the day. Ober went 6-9 in 27 starts for the Twins last season with an ERA of 5.10 and a WHIP of 1.30.
