Anthony Edwards erupted for 43 points, powering the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 106-99 win over the defending champion Denver Nuggets in Game 1. Will he put up another big night in Game 2? The twin tower of Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert also made the difference on the defensive end as they forced Jokic to shoot just 11-for-25 from the field, which was way below his 58 FG% shooting during the regular season.
