Las Vegas Aces (24-11) will host Minnesota Lynx (28-7) on Saturday night at the Michelob ULTRA Arena. The Aces will be shooting to get their third straight win after defeating the Mystics in back-to-back matches. They won 83-76 on Thursday night at home to clinch a playoff spot with nine matches to go. However, the defending champions will be keen to avoid any complacency and go on a strong winning run ahead of the postseason.
Minnesota Lynx, meanwhile, have been on a tear this season, sitting on top of the league standings, three games ahead of the Valkyries. They became the first team to secure a playoff ticket after defeating Las Vegas Aces 98-87. Rookie guard Olivia Miles was again instrumental in that win, tallying 26 points, whereas Napheesa Collier contributed 22 points. The Lynx don’t look like they’re slowing down any time soon.
