The Bucks will miss the playoffs and have a losing season for the first time since 2015-16. It was a season marred by repeated injuries and the absence of their star player, Antetokounmpo. However, even with the Greek Freak on the court, Milwaukee failed to meet expectations. That's how things are going for them, and they'll want to at least end the regular season on a positive note when they face the 76ers.
On Friday, the Bucks won against one of the few teams that performed worse than them this season. At Fiserv Forum, they defeated the Nets 125-108, a game that featured a particularly memorable moment: AJ Green sinking 11 three-pointers, setting a Bucks record for three-pointers in a single game. With this win, Milwaukee has yet to lose 50 games and could avoid that milestone if they beat Philadelphia.
With one game remaining, the Sixers are currently eighth in the Eastern Conference, in a play-in position, but that could change, potentially dropping them to sixth or seventh. Their last loss came against the Rockets. Philadelphia has adapted to the absence of Embiid, who is out indefinitely, but at least one of their star trio, Maxey, returned, scoring 23 points in the loss to Houston.
