After the 11 runs that the Brewers made against the Giants in game 2, Logan Webb returned to the mound in game 3, and the mere presence of the Giants ace playing in Oracle caused the Giants to close as favorites in the betting in game 3 by odds of -145. Webb delivered, pitching a scoreless six innings in another of his numerous quality outings between 2024 and 2025. When Webb got all three outs in the top of the sixth inning, his Giants offense backed him up with four runs in the bottom of the sixth, giving Webb his third W of the season.

The Brewers rallied late in the ninth inning but forced closer Camilo Doval to come in, earning his fourth save with two outs.

Tobias Myers, who has yet to debut in 2025, appears recovered from his most recent injury and pitched in Triple-A three starts before returning to the MLB with the Brewers. Generally speaking, pitchers who returned to the Major Leagues due to injuries after the season had already begun didn't fare well, and Myers will have a tough time against the Giants' dynamic offense.
