The Milwaukee Brewers will gladly say farewell to Pittsburgh on Thursday afternoon after dropping the first two games of the series against the Pirates. Milwaukee has only mustered 3 runs so far against the Pirates, losing 4-2 and 2-1. The home team looked in control of both games, with Milwaukee only scoring in the 8th inning of their last game. They will need to do more if they hope to not earn a win on the road, but they can take respite in the fact Freddy Peralta will likely step on the mound Thursday. The ace is 2-0 on the season with a 1.90 ERA and 33 strikeouts. Mitch Keller will be the opposite man for Pittsburgh, who is 2-2 this year with a less favorable 4.80 ERA and 25 strikeouts. This will be a getaway game for both clubs. Milwaukee will finally play more home games as they host the New York Yankees over the weekend for an interleague clash.
