The Milwaukee Brewers (26-17) will look to complete the road sweep of the Minnesota Twins (20-26) this afternoon. In the previous two games of this series, it has been pitching and timely hitting that have been the difference.
In game one, the Brewers trailed 2-1 as they entered the 8th inning. William Contreras knocked in Jackson Chourio on a fielder’s choice before Jake Bauers drilled a double that scored Contreras for what would be the game-winning run. Coleman Crow was the starter for Milwaukee and pitched well, but did not factor into the decision, while reliever Aaron Ashby did pick up the win in relief.
In game two, the Brewers found their way back from an early deficit once again. After Luis Rengifo tied the game on a groundout RBI in the 4th, it was Jackson Chourio who ended up providing the deciding run on a solo home run in the 6th inning. Logan Henderson was strong for Milwaukee on the mound. He went 5 innings and struck out 7 batters while allowing just 1 run in the win. Connor Prielipp had a great outing for the Twins as well. He allowed just 1 earned run and struck out 8 in his 6 innings of work.
The Brewers are likely going to go with Robert Gasser in this one. Gasser has been recalled from Triple-A and will be making his season debut today. Bailey Ober for the Twins will be his counterpart and is coming off a complete game shutout against the Marlins in his last start, but was also knocked around for 5 runs by Washington in his previous start.

Our Minnesota Twins vs Milwaukee Brewers Prediction
While it may not be the ideal situation with having Gasser start here, the Twins' lineup has also not been producing much. Gasser will just need to get through 4 innings before they can go to the bullpen and keep this Twins lineup at bay, as they have over their recent stretch of meetings. We like the Brewers to complete the sweep today and do so with more runs than they have been putting up in the previous two games.
Our prediction for Minnesota Twins vs Milwaukee Brewers: Milwaukee to win
