The Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs are scheduled to play a doubleheader today in the Windy City, with the second game set to get underway at 8:05 p.m. EST at Wrigley Field. Game One was scheduled for 2:20 p.m. EST.

Milwaukee currently has a nine-game lead on the Cubs in the NL Central. It’s a tough deficit for Chicago to overcome, but with 35+ games left to play, including two more against the Brewers, it’s not impossible if Milwaukee goes into a tailspin for a long enough stretch and the Cubbies can go on a run. But if they don’t, that’s okay. Chicago has a comfortable lead in the wild-card chase. Brandon Woodruff is set to start for the Brewers. He is 4-0 in seven starts this season with a  2.06 ERA. .74 WHIP, and .152 OBA. Woodruff has been at his best on the road, where he is 3-0 in three starts with a 1.50 ERA and .085 OBA. Jameson Taillon is expected to come off the IL to start the game for the Cubs. Taillon has gone 7-6 in 17 starts with a 4.44 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and .236 OBA. He’s had his best stuff at home, where he’s gone 3-2 in eight starts with a .208 OBA.
