The Arizona Diamonds will be hosting the Milwaukee Brewers for a 3-game series that begins tonight at Chase Field.

Arizona is coming off a solid series against the Giants, who were in town this week. They took the 1st two games before failing to complete the sweep on Wednesday. In that final game, the Diamondbacks found themselves down 6-0 through the 7th inning. They tried to rally in the 8th when they scored 4 runs on reliever Ryan Walker, but it was not enough to complete the comeback.

For the Brewers, they are coming off a similar series against the Cincinnati Reds. It was a 4-game set where they won the 1st three before falling in the final game and missing out on the sweep themselves. They had held the Reds to just 7 total runs in the 1st three games before allowing that same number in the final, where they lost 7-2.

It should be an interesting matchup in terms of starting pitchers in this one. Kyle Harrison of the Brewers has been a bright spot for them all season. He is 8-1 with a solid 2.57 ERA. He has held his opponents to just 4 earned runs over his last 17.1 innings of work. He will be countered by Jose Cabrera of the Diamondbacks. Cabrera will be making just his 3rd career start. He went 5 innings of scoreless work in his debut against the Twins but was tagged for 4 runs on 7 hits in 5 innings against the Rays in his last one.
