Philadelphia Phillies vs Miami Marlins Prediction & Picks - MLB

The Philadelphia (53-27) Phillies won yet another series yesterday when they took game 3 over the Detroit Tigers on the road. Now, they come back home, and play hosts to the Miami Marlins (28-52). These divisional foes faced each other last in early May with the Phillies taking 2 out 3 with the third games being won by the Marlins in extra innings. The Marlins are coming off a loss in Kansas City where they lost their 3-game series 2-1. They will throw lefty, Trevor Rogers (1-8, 4.90) on this first game of the series with the Phillies. Rogers only allowed 2 runs on 4 hits against the Mariners in his last start, which he did not factor into the decision. The Phillies will have their ace and current Cy Young favorite, Zach Wheeler (9-4, 2.73) on the mound. Wheelers stuck out 8 while walking none in his last start which came against Arizona. He will look to have that type of outing again here instead of the rough one he had last time against these fish. He only went 4 innings and allowed 6 runs against Miami in their last series. One player to watch out for here is Kyle Schwarber. We are nearing the end of June and he has been a bit quite in terms of homeruns lately. It would not shock us to see him put one out tonight.
