New York Yankees vs Miami Marlins Prediction & Picks - MLB

The 1-10 Miami Marlins look to bounce back after getting shutout 7-0 against the Yankees yesterday. Things have not gone well for Miami at all to start the season. As a team, they are batting just .210 which is 26th in the league and have a combined 5.40 ERA which is 27th in the league. Looking at those numbers, it is no surprise they have managed only 1 win on the season. Jake Burger has been their one bright spot. Burger is hitting .286 and has already picked up 12 RBIs on 4 extra base hits. AJ Puk will get the start for Miami and will need to find something as he is 0-2 on the year with a 9.00 ERA. After lasting just 2 innings against the Pirates, he managed to make it through 4 vs the LAA but has combined in those games to walk 9 batters while striking out just 6. For the Yankees, things have been going almost as well as they could to start the season for the Bronx Bombers. They are 9-2 and have a combined 2.70 ERA which is good enough for 4th in the league. The homeruns have already begun to fly from the lineup that has arguably the most power in the league. They currently have 13 homers which is 7th in MLB. Acquisition Juan Soto has already made his mark and is hitting an impressive .357 with 10 RBIs. They will have Carlos Rodon hurling this evening. He is coming off 5.1 IP and allowing just 2 runs against the Diamondbacks.
