On Tuesday evening, there will be futher FIFA World Cup preparations for both the Mexicans and the South Koreans, with both teams playing on US soil for the second time in less than a week. Just a few days ago, the Mexicans took on the Japanese in Oakland, California, where they huffed and puffed but ultimately failed to blow down the house of Blue Samarai, tying 0-0. Overall, there was nothing to hate about the performance of El Tri, though they weren't quite at their brilliant best. Will that change here?
While the Mexicans struggled to seriously get going against Japan, the South Koreans delivered a counter-offensive masterclass against the US, winning by two goals to zero, despite being pushed back for most of the encounter in New Jersey. The men captained by LAFC's Son Heung-Min will now be looking to pull off something similar, but can the do it?

Our Mexico vs Korea Republic Prediction
Sure, the Mexicans did fail to score against Japan, but I wouldn't rush to write them off offensively on that basis. After all, the South Koreans as they looked offensively, conceded loads of chance against the US, and sharper offense such as that belonging to El Tri should be able to profit. We can also expect the visitors to pack a punch in the final third, with them scoring in every away game that they've played since early 2024. Given what we've seen from both in recent times, a bet on both to find the net at least once may just be a little generously priced. Our Mexico vs South Korea Pick: Both Teams to Score.
