Dusan Lajovic does not specialize in consistency, so do not be surprised if he follows up his first-round win over Daniel Altmaier with a poor effort. The Serbian has not won back-to-back matches on a clay surface September, while he doesn't exactly have the best record of going beyond the second round in Rio, doing so just twice despite playing in this event every year since 2014.

If the Italian can be at anywhere near his best for much of the week, he's going to go very deep, it's as simple as that. After showing that he's in good form by beating Barrios Vera in straight sets, he looks a little generously priced to see off a lower-ranked competitor without dropping a set.
Dusan Lajovic typically struggled against much higher-ranked players, and I'm really not going to be fooled by his win over Altmaier, who isn't as strong as Berrettini.
