The highly anticipated Ligue 1 match between Marseille and newly promoted Paris FC will take place this Saturday at 11:00 AM EST at the Stade Vélodrome. It took just one game for Marseille to fall into crisis, despite a very convincing summer preparation. After a 1-0 defeat at Stade Rennais, a major altercation took place between Jonathan Rowe and Adrien Rabiot. The incident prompted Olympique Marseille's management to put both players on the transfer list. This is not the best way to prepare for their reunion with their fans this weekend.
Paris FC is one of the most eagerly awaited teams in this new Ligue 1 season. The club from the French capital has risen to the top flight of French football after being bought out a few months ago. The Parisian club's management was very active during the summer transfer window, but lost their first game of the season, 1-0, away to AJ Auxerre. They will want to take advantage of OM's recent difficulties to defy the odds and make a big splash in the south of France.
