Chasing what would be a first ever title on Canadian soil, Coco Gauff is back down to business in Toronto on Friday evening, when she'll take on Maria Sakkari, who recently reached the final of the WTA event in Athens. That was on home soil, though, while this is her hardest assignment for some time. Can she seriously test the world number four? Probably not. 

We know that Maria Sakkari is a strong hard-court player, so much so that there aren't too many players that you'd absolutely expect to defeat the Greek competitor in convincing style. Unfortunately for Sakkari, Coco Gauff is one of those players. The American, who is a multiple Grand Slam winner, has previously made light work of brushing Sakkari aside, winning in straight sets when the pair last met on a hard surface. At odds of -133, she's worth betting on to do the same here.
