Manchester City will be looking to pile the pressure on Premier League leaders Arsenal by claiming three points from their Saturday night home fixture against Newcastle.
Victory for City would move Pep Guardiola's side to within two points of the Gunners, who face North London rivals Spurs on Sunday afternoon.
Whilst City have not quite been at their best in recent months, they have done enough to close the gap at the top of the table. If the likes of Erling Haaland, Rodri and Phil Foden can hit top form during the title run in, City will have an excellent chance of securing their fifth Premier League crown in six seasons.
Standing in City's way on Saturday will be a Newcastle side fresh from a 6-1 thumping of Qarabag in the Champions League playoffs. Eddie Howe's side have struggled for consistency this season and are currently languishing in tenth place in the Premier League table. However, they are only four points outside the top seven, so a strong end to the campaign could still them qualify for Europe next season.
