Golden State Warriors (31-28) will host LA Lakers (34-24) at the Chase Center on Saturday night. The Warriors will be looking to make it two wins on the bounce after picking up a commanding 21-point win against the Grizzlies on the road on Wednesday night. Despite those wins, February has been a roller-coaster month for the Warriors. I checked their record and found that they’ve dropped five of their nine assignments. They need to be more consistent to secure a postseason spot.
Meanwhile, I must admit that the Lakers haven’t lived up to expectations this season despite their hugely talented squad. The Lakers find themselves in sixth place, 10 games behind the Thunder at the top. They dropped five of their last 10 games, including their previous three. The Lakers were defeated by the Suns 113-110 on the road on Thursday night despite Doncic’s 41-point effort. The game against the Warriors is almost a must-win for them.
