The Los Angeles Dodgers seek for a quick turnaround after a heartbreaking one run loss on Saturday. The Dodgers and the Rangers clash in Sunday’s series finale at Globe Life Field.
The Dodgers’ four-game win streak came to an end with a narrow 3-4 loss to the Rangers. Rookie pitcher Roki Sasaki allowed two earned runs in six innings to raise his ERA to 3.20 in the season. The Dodgers have also missed the service of Shohei Ohtani in the last two games due to personal reasons. It was later confirmed that Ohtani and his wife welcomed their first child over the weekend.

The Dodgers are my pick to cover the spread despite that narrow loss on Saturday. Los Angeles is coming into Game 3 batting .259 with 5.4 runs in their last five games. Tyler Glasnow had been erratic in the last two games, but I still expect him to regain his mojo at some point this season. The Dodgers hope they can get a vintage performance from Glasnow, who pitched CY Young Award-worthy numbers before the injury last season. Mahle is off to a strong start with a 0.92 ERA, but he hasn’t faced a team as deep and potent as the Dodgers this season. This will be his first big test if he's become a big-time pitcher this year.
