Someone’s three-game winning streak will come to an end tonight when the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX, in Game One of a three-game weekend series. The action is scheduled to get underway at 8:05 p.m. EST on the MLB Network.

The Dodgers have cooled off from their torrid 9-1 start, going 5-5 over their last ten games, including a three-game sweep of the Rockies at home. In the final game on Wednesday, the Dodgers got out to an early lead with seven runs in the bottom of the first. But the Rockies got back into the game with five in the third to make the score 7-6 for the Dodgers. Each team added another run over the remainder of the game to make the final 8-7. On the heels of a dreadful 1-5 road trip, the Rangers swept the Angels in a three-game series to improve to 12-7 on the year. The lineup was productive, scoring 4, 3, and 5 runs while holding the Angels to 0, 1, and 3.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto will take the mound for the Dodgers. He’s gone 2-1 in four starts with a 1.23 ERA and .91 WHIP. Texas will turn to Jacob deGrom. He has yet to factor into a decision after three starts, has a 4.30 ERA, and a 1.30 WHIP.
