The Dodgers stand out in an MLB where teams are generally evenly matched; the reigning champions continue to dominate the best baseball in the world and will face their divisional rivals starting Tuesday, when they begin a series against the Giants.

The Dodgers faced a tough challenge against the Rockies, who managed to win two games in Colorado, despite the Dodgers being favored with odds of -290 and -205. Even so, the Dodgers got their revenge in the final game of the four-game series, played in the snow, and put on an offensive feast to beat the Rockies 12-3 at Coors Field. Ohtani went 1-for-4, but then Max Muncy's bat came alive, and he had an epic game, going 4-for-4 with two home runs; anyone in the Dodgers' dangerous lineup can have a game like that.

That's something the Giants certainly can't say, as they were shut out in the final game of the series against the Nationals before their day off on Tuesday.
