Minnesota Twins vs Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction & Picks - MLB

The Twins have had a third week of resurgence in June; they already looked good in Texas when they swept the Rangers in a series where they hit a tremendous number of home runs, but then they took on a challenging series in the desert, winning the Rubber Game 4-2 against the D-backs. The real challenge comes now when they return to Target Field to face the two-time defending champion Dodgers.

The Twins won Game 3 of their series in Arizona without hitting a home run, but they were helped by a splendid day from Ryan Kreidler with three hits. In this victory—and also throughout the series—Bell's bat was crucial; in addition, Byron Buxton went 2-for-5 in the game and is having a spectacular month. At this point in the season, it seems likely that Buxton will compete for the MLB home run lead. He made that clear on Saturday when he hit a grand slam, his 24th home run of the year, which puts him third in the league's home run race.

The Dodgers, meanwhile, were routed in the final game of the series against the Orioles; even so, with a 49-29 record, they still have the best record in MLB.
