The Los Angeles Dodgers (70-49 SU, 58-61 ATS) look to keep their momentum going in the second game of their series with the Milwaukee Brewers (67-51 SU, 63-55 ATS). After getting a gem from Clayton Kershaw on Tuesday, the Dodgers might find the going a little rougher on Wednesday.
Gavin Stone hasn’t yet developed into the reliable arm the Dodgers need in that spot in the rotation. He appeared to be showing signs of becoming that pitcher back in June, but since the calendar flipped to July, it’s been a pretty rough going for him. Over his past six games, he gave up at least three runs five times, and not once did he get through the game without allowing at least one home run. He’s also only made it through the fifth inning once in that stretch, not exactly a confidence-inspiring performance.
