The Chicago Cubs will be aiming to build on their impressive 10-5 victory in the series opener, when they take on the LA Dodgers once agisnt on Tuesday evening.
That game one success for the Cubs featured two run homers from Kevin Alcántara, Carson Kelly and Seiya Suzuki, plus three runs from Michael Busch. Whilst Chicago are still five games back from the Brewers in the NL Central, they do hold a healthy advantage over the chasing pack in the race for a Wild Card spot.
As for the Dodgers, Monday's loss was their fourth in a row, equalling their worst run of the entire season. Despite that poor run of results, LA still have a comfortable nine game advantage over the Diamondbacks at the top of the ML West and are still the bookies' hot favorites to retain their World Series crown.

The Dodgers will be desperate to get back to winning ways, but whilst it seems inevitable that their losing run will end very soon, we are still reluctant to back them against a very strong Cubs outfit.
The rotation favours LA here, so we cannot see a repeat of Monday's lopsided win for the Cubs. However, the Cubs are still an elite outfit and we fully expect them to make this another tough evening for the Dodgers.
Overall, we just about favor the home side here, but backing the Cubs on the run line looks the smart play.
