The Arizona Diamondbacks will try to make it two in a row today when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 2 of a four-game series at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ. Fans can follow the game once it gets underway at 9:40 p.m. EST.

Diamondbacks starter Brandon Pfaadt did his part with 6 1/3 scoreless innings, but got lots of run support from his lineup. Gabriel Moreno got Arizona on the board with a grand slam home run in the fourth. Ketel Marte added another run with a solo shot in the fifth. LA finally got on the scoreboard with a pair of runs in the eighth and got a solo shot from Shohei Ohtani in the night to close the scoring out. Roki Sasaki is scheduled to get the start for the Dodgers today. Sasaki (3.86 ERA) got his first win of the season in his last start (vs. Atlanta, May 3). He went five innings, giving up six hits and three runs. It was his fourth game in a row giving up a home run. Arizona will go with Eduardo Rodriguez (5.92 ERA). Rodrigues struck out ten in his last outing (vs. Phillies) but walked four and gave up five hits and four runs (three earned). It was the third game in a row where the opponent recorded at least four runs with him on the mound.
