The Rangers will have two-time Cy Young Award winner Jacob deGrom on the mound. He delivered a dominant seven-inning performance, earning a win; he allowed only two hits and struck out nine. Overall, it was a solid June for deGrom, particularly due to his strikeout rate and the average velocity of his fastball. Regarding his fastball, he stated that he threw it best in his final start of the season.
