The Los Angeles Angels are looking forward to this abysmal season coming to an end. They are currently 38 games under .500 and are coming into this series on a 3-game losing streak. They are on the road in Seattle to face the Mariners in a 4-game series to finish off the year.
The Angels are fresh off a short 2-game series against the Athletics, where they allowed 16 total runs and lost both. They have lost 4 of their last 5 games, and things won’t be easy here on the road to close out the season. Grayson Rodriguez will be starting and has almost a 6.00 ERA on the season and a 4-8 record. He has not won a start since the middle of August.
For Seattle, the season is also coming to an end after this series. They had an underwhelming season and find themselves on the outside looking in on the postseason. They have won 4 of their last 6 games and seem to be in a better place than the Angels. They will have Bryan Woo on the mound, and he has been having a decent season.
