Two of the lowest ranked teams in MLB continue their series on Saturday afternoon, as the Giants and Angels face off at Oracle Park.
The opening game of the series was won 7-6 by the Giants thanks to a dramatic tenth innings single from Rafael Devers.
That victory snapped a five game losing streak for San Fran, but they are still languishing in fourth place in the NL West and are ten games back from the wild card places.
The Angels' situation is even more dire, and Friday's loss means they are still mired at the bottom of the AL West table with virtually no chance of making the postseason. The main reason for LA's terrible campaign so far is an abysmal road record of just 17 wins from 52 games.
