The 4-game series between the New York Yankees (10-8) and the Los Angeles Angels (9-10) has been a back-and-forth battle through the 1st three games. The Yankees took game one in a walk-off fashion, winning the game 11-10. In game two, it was all Angles as they opened the game with 3 runs in the 1st and never looked back in their 7-1 win. Last night, in game three, it was another walk-off win for the Yankees. Jose Caballero doubled in two runs to complete their come from behind 5-4 win.
Max Fried is slated to pitch for New York in this final game of the series. He has been great in his 1st four starts of the season. He has allowed just 6 runs over his 28 innings of work. However, he is just 2-0 in those four starts. He will bring his 1.93 ERA into this contest and the Yankees are hopeful he well lead them to a series win instead of a series split.
The Angels are still undecided on who they will throw in this final matchup. Whoever does get the start will be backed by a solid bullpen.
