Two of the MLS's most out-of-form teams meet at the Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday night, as the LA Galaxy host Real Salt Lake in a must-win game. The Galaxy are still searching for their first victory of the campaign, and their tally of just four points from their opening 16 fixtures is comfortably the lowest in the entire MLS. Defence has been the biggest problem for the Galaxy thus far, they have recorded just one clean sheet and are averaging over two goals conceded per game.
Real Salt Lake have fared slightly better so far, but they will still be hugely disappointed with their tally of 15 points from their opening 16 matches. The midweek draw in Austin means they have now gone six games without a win, a run that has seen them fall out of the Western Conference playoff positions.
