The Los Angeles Sparks (10-11) visit the Atlanta Dream (13-10) for a 2026 WNBA regular season matchup on Monday, July 13, at Gateway Center Arena.
This is the first time that the Sparks and the Dream will face each other. They're both in the middle of the standings, with plenty to fight for on Monday.
But it's the Dream that will treat this as a must-win game. After a rousing start in their first 16 games of the season, Atlanta has struggled recently. They dropped six of their last seven games, including a most recent 102-92 defeat at the hands of the Portland Fire.
Typically a good defensive team, the Dream allowed the Fire to shoot 60% from the floor. It also didn't help that Portland made almost half of their 29 three-point attempts (48.3%).
Still, the Dream ranks 4th in the league in defensive rating (105.3). They just need to get out of this slump.
