The Texas Rangers (26-31, 13-13 Home) will try to move back above .500 at home today when they host the Kansas City Royals in Game 2 of their three-game weekend series. Texas fans saw their team’s offense come alive yesterday with ten hits, including three home runs, and nine earned runs. It was the third time this month and the fourth time this season the Rangers scored 9+ runs in a game.

As for the Royals, Seth Lugo is scheduled to start at pitcher for Kansas City. Lugo is 2-4 in 11 starts with a 3.74 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP. On the road,  he has gone 1-1 in four starts with a 3.0 ERA and a .289 OBA. He has yet to surrender a home run in a road game.
