The Athletics (15-14, 5-6 Home) will host the Kansas City Royals (12-17, 3-10Away) in Game Three of a three-game series at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento, CA. The first pitch for this contest is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. EST, with coverage on MLB.TV.

Kansas City has had some issues on the road this season, but you wouldn’t have known it from watching them play in Game One of this series on Tuesday, a 4-1 victory in extra innings. At the time of this writing, Game Two of the series had yet to conclude, but the A’s were up 5-1 in the bottom of the seventh.

The Royals will have Noah Cameron start the day on the mound. Cameron is 2-1 in five starts with a 5.13 ERA and a 1.52 WHIP. He has given up multiple runs in each of his last three starts (five, five, and three). For the Athletics, it will be Jeffrey Springs taking the mound to start the day.  Springs is 3-2 in six starts with a 3.79 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP.  Most of the runs scored against him came in his last two starts: seven vs. White Sox (April 19) and four vs. Texas (April 25). He gave a total of two in his first three stats.
