=14.0ptThe Kansas City Chiefs were the final team in the NFL to taste their 1st defeat last week. Their 9-0 start was impressive but an undefeated year was just not in the cards. They were on the road in Buffalo last week and Josh Allen and the Bills offense proved to be too much for the Chiefs to keep up with. After a scoreless 3rd quarter, the Bills extended their 16-14 lead to 23-14 after Josh Allen hit Curtis Samuel. Mahomes answered with his 2nd TD pass to Noah Gray but Allen put the nail in the coffin with a 26-yard touchdown run to give the Bills the 30-21 victory. The Chiefs were held to under 80 yards on the ground and turned the ball over twice in the loss. The good new is they get to face the 3-7 Panthers this week. However, these Panthers have won 2 straight games and held their opponents to an average of just under 20ppg in those wins. Chuba Hubbard has taken his 43 carries for 225 yards and 3 touchdowns in those 2 wins. He will need to keep that up for the Panthers to stand any shot against an angry Chiefs team.
