Struggling Fiorentina face a monumental task on Wednesday night, as they travel to the San Siro to take on an Inter Milan side looking to bounce back from their weekend loss to Napoli.
Moises Kean's last gasp penalty gave Fiorentina a precious point at home to Bologna at the weekend, but Stefano Pioli's men are still without a Serie A win this season and currently occupy one of the division's three relegation places.
La Viola came into the season with high expectations following last season's sixth place finish, but unless they can start putting some wins on the board very quickly, a long relegation battle looks in store.
Inter's seven game winning run came to a shuddering halt on Saturday, as they were comfortably outclassed by champions Napoli. Nevertheless, Cristian Chivu's side are still strong contenders for the Serie A title, so do not be surprised to see Wednesday's game mark the beginning of another long unbeaten run.
